How Custom Stainless Steel Fabrication Works: Our 4-Step Process

From your first call to the installed countertop, working with a custom fabricator is simpler than most homeowners expect. Here is exactly how Iron Sight handles a project — four steps, no surprises, the same shop start to finish.

Free quote + consult

Contact us with your project details — rough dimensions, finish preference, cutouts, and location. We give you a free quote, usually within 24–48 hours, along with a straight answer on grade, gauge, and what your build actually needs. No pressure, no obligation, no sales desk handing you off.

02

On-site template — we come to you

Once you approve the quote, we come to your home or commercial location and template the space to the millimeter. We account for out-of-square walls, existing cabinetry, angled corners, and any special condition your kitchen presents. This is why a custom piece fits the way an off-the-shelf slab never can.

03

Fabrication in our shop — 2–4 weeks

We cut, form, weld, and finish your piece in our Santa Clarita shop. Standard residential lead time is 2–4 weeks from the approved template. Every weld is dressed, every edge is finished to spec, and the piece is inspected before it leaves the floor. We notify you the moment it is ready.

04

Installation + walkthrough

Our team installs the finished piece, ensures a clean fit, and walks you through care and maintenance. No third-party installers and no warehouse delivery to coordinate — the same shop that built it installs it, and we put our name on the result.

Typical timeline: 2–4 weeks, design to install.
